We will be exhibiting our very latest advanced technologies, including sensing devices, in “CEATEC JAPAN 2008” starting from September 30 at Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center) in Chiba prefecture.
Please visit our booth.
In CEATEC JAPAN 2008, we will set-up 74 exhibition stands, about 1.4 times more than we did last year. We will showcase our versatile products and propose solutions mainly in our new products and cutting-edge technologies.
In the “Product display booth”, we will be highlighting our solutions proposals and cutting-edge technologies divided into 8 sections of sensing, input, connecting, actuating, high-frequency, optical, printing, and automotive.
Especially, in the sensing solutions section, under the catch phrase “SENSORING™”, we will showcase our magnetic and UV sensors including the world's smallest class, piezoresistive-type pressure sensor (absolute pressure detection).
On the “Product demonstration stage”, we will be conducting “Sensing and wireless network demonstrations” utilizing our sensing and high-frequency technologies. Our sensors along with weather observation cameras will be located in Makuhari, Sendai, and Osaka areas. Various types of information such as images, air pressure, and UV volumes of each area will be collected through our W-LAN module network, and displayed over the monitor at the site to report and forecast the weather in real time.
We also plan to conduct a demonstration in which we use a notebook PC installed with a sensor with micro electrostatic capacitance technology, and operate the screen without touching the keyboard and mouse.
Furthermore on Saturday, October 4, in the special section of our booth, as a demonstration of our real time image transmission technology, visitors to the show will be able to experience operation of a radio controlled motor vehicle using our W-LAN module.
CEATEC JAPAN 2008 will show Alps Electric's continued contribution to the future of a digital society through providing products which accurately meet the market needs.
