Alps Alpine Receives Jaguar Land Rover Global Supplier Excellence Award

TOKYO, June 11, 2019 – Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 6770; President &
CEO: Toshihiro Kuriyama), a manufacturer of high-quality electronic products,
has received the Jaguar Land Rover Supplier Excellence Award for 2019.
At an awards ceremony that took place in Cotswolds, United Kingdom on May
14th, Alps Alpine (former Alps Electric) received a Global Supplier Excellence
Award from Jaguar Land Rover, which recognizes extraordinary contribution to
Jaguar Land Rover’s business over the last year. Fifteen suppliers from around
the world were recognized with these awards.
Alps Alpine is honored to receive a Gold Award in respect of producing their
customer-oriented car interior electronics for almost 30 years.
Takashi Kimoto, CSO of Alps Alpine, said “Alps Alpine is extremely proud to
receive this award.
We will deliver our standards to Jaguar Land Rover, and all of our other
valued customers by utilizing the inherent technologies that the former Alps
Electric and the Alpine Corporation, as we integrated in January 2019”.
